BEATRICE E. RANGEL

Accomplished in international business with broad-based expertise in analyzing, developing, negotiating, and implementing short and long-term corporate investment strategies and acquisitions throughout the Latin American and Caribbean communities. Recent profesional focus stresses development of Shared Value approach to business practices as means to increase effectiveness and better manage the business cycle.

A former Minister of the Secretariat during the Presidency of Carlos Andrés Pérez (Venezuela); Chief Strategist for the Cisneros Group of Companies and institutional Relations Director for Codere S.A. as well as CEO of Codere Argentina and Codere Mexico. Ms Rangel, a U.S. citizen, maintains strong government, military, law enforcement and busuness contacts trhoughout the Americas region.

RODRIGO ARBOLEDA

Senior Advisor
With 50 years of experience in the flieds of Architecture, International Business Development, Education and Technology, Civic and Philantropic endeavors. After graduating from MIT as an architect in 1965, he became an award-winning architect in his native Medellin, Colombia, as well as the honorary president of the Colombian Society of Architects.

As an entrepreneur he entered into several businesses both in Colombia and later in the U.S., ranging from developing a fresh-cut flower for export and later in the transportation and distribution of flowers and other perishables and regular cargo both in ocean vessels and airplanes. In addition to these businesses, Rodrigo managed the expansion of Ogden Corporation, in Latin American and in Spain. He was first president of 33 of Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 33 airports as well as the construction of the Rural Society´s Fair and Exhibit grounds in Buenos Aires, and the isla Mágica´s theme park in Sevilla, Spain.

For more tan 33 years, he promoted the use technology in education with his friend and classmate Nicholas Negroponte, founder of the Media Lab at MIT, in Colombia and later as the worldwide CEO of the Laptop Per Child (OLPC) Project. He Managed the logistics, implementation, training and deployment of the versions of the emblematic XO Laptop, and managed the delivery of many of three million laptops in developing nations. He served in the BOD of saved the Children Foundation and is currently in the board of several Philantropic institutions.

With an extensive international business experience, Pablo was Partner of Arthur Andersen & Co in Venezuela, which became the second largest accounting firm in the country with a staff of more than 500 professionals.

He has succesfully advised corporate level senior management teams on strategic financial and operational functions in nine Latin American countries, Canada and the United States

With over 30 years of experience in Telecommunications, Entertainment, and Telemedicine Law, has represented the Argentinian administration, regulatory institutions and firms in America and international organizations. Lawyer (1983) graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires.

President of the Hispanic Telemedicine Foundation, vice-president of the TIC and Health Workgroup in the eLac2018 (CEPAL) program. Mr Schor-Landman is a sought after lecturer and teacher in Argentina and overseas.  He was a distinguished participant at the top level forum: “Towards a better future: Redefining the TIC sector in the Americas”. Latin-American Telecommunications Commission (CITEL) Mexico DF 2010; Magistrate conference “Electronic clinical history”; IX International IT Congress La Habana, Cuba 2013; “Ethics, law, and telemedicine”; Grenoble École de Management (GEM) and Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 2013. He enjoys a distinguished leadership in several  international organizations in the sector.
